The General Leadership met wtih the India Regional Superior, Sr. Jessy, one of her Council, Sr. Roshni, and the Regional Treasurer, Sr. Rose, on February 17th and 18th. These discussions of Regional business and other concerns were the main reason for their week-long visit to Muenster and the Generalate.
General Visitation to the India Region had been cancelled in the fall of 2008 and the Regional Leadership was consequently invited to Muenster. The visit also has facilitated several meetings with others interested in the ministries of the India Region and its Sisters.
The membership of the India Region includes 76 finally professed Sisters, 13 temporary professed, and 3 novices. They are ministering in twelve locations throughout the country of India.
