With the award “Menschen für Menschen” the city Telgte each year honoured persons, who give their support without reservation in special ways and to needy and distressed people. This year the price was awarded to the Franziskanerinnen, Münster St.Mauritz - Sister M. Irma, Sister M. Imeldis and Sister M. Laetitia - from the Convent in our Bernsmeyer House. These sisters always have an open heart and open hands for all those who are coming at the door, for all requests, questions and emergencies. The sisters take part actively in the social and religious life of the city and they are welcome members. In the laudatory speech was mentioned among other things: ƒYour work is not only particularly important in the present time, but priceless. Completely in the sense of Saint Francis of Assisi you are available in an almost exemplary way for the next one, particularly for those, who need the assistance most necessarily.
