My name is Sister Christa Maria Frie, I am the General Secretary of our Community. It is my task to support the Leadership of our Congregation in their day-to-day administrative work. My responsibilities include the correspondence of our General Superior, the organization of travels and preparation of meetings and conferences.
I was born in 1944 in Havixbeck near Münster. After I finished school, I trained as office clerk and worked in this occupation for several years.
When I was 20, I entered the Order and became a nurse. I worked in various hospitals for 25 years with my last service being at the St. Franziskus-Hospital in Münster.
Having completed various courses, I began to work as a secretary in the Generalate in 1992, nine years later, I became General Secretary.
