My name is Sister M. Christella from the Japan Province.

Before I entered the Community in 1969, I worked as a nurse in a hospital for three years. In 1972, I made my first profession of vows.

In the Community, I asked the name of our founder, Father Christoph Bernsmeyer, as my religious name and was given "Christella".

I worked in the nursing area in the hospitals of our Community for some time. Then I was given opportunities to study Business Administration at a university as well as Hospital Administration at a National Institute for Medical Administration. Following that, I worked as the Hospital Administrator in our hospital.

Since 2000, I have been serving in the congregation as a General Councilor.
