I am Sister M. Gabriella Lohe, born May 6, 1939, in Düsseldorf.
I gave it a chance and entered our Franciscan Community at Easter 1963, and I have never regretted it! Until 1962, I worked in various large corporations as a clerk or secretary and explored the world ‘along the way’. In the Order, I was trained as a nurse but unfortunately was able to exercise this occupation only briefly. Given my past experience, I was soon appointed to work in administration.
I have been a secretary in the Generalate of our International Religious Community since 1975 and I continue to enjoy this varied and interesting work.
