I, Sister M. Reinlind Böcker, was elected General Vicaress at the General Chapter 2006. I have been a member of the German Province of the Order since 1963. In Germany, we are referred to as the "Mauritzer Franziskanerinnen" (the Mauritz Franciscan Sisters).
For a long time, my responsibilities in the Congregation were to introduce young people to the Community and to acquaint them with its spiritual foundation, i.e. in Vocation Ministry, as a Novice Minister and as a Minister for Temporary Professed. In my present position in the Leadership team of our International Community, I am now able to make good use of the experience I gained in my previous offices.
As a person, I have been shaped by my Westphalian Roman-Catholic background and my commitment is rooted in my great love for St. Francis and St. Clare.
