Sister M. Amelie Rieps

✝ Monday, March 13th 2017

Into your hands Lord, I commend my spirit.
Psalm 31:6

Sister M. Amelie was born on October 21, 1925 in Gronau-Epe. She entered our Congregation on April 12, 1955 and made her first profession of vows on October 28, 1957.

For more than 60 years, Sister M. Amelie placed her life in the service of our community.   She would have celebrated her Diamond Jubilee in spring of this year. Now she will celebrate this jubilee in God’s eternity.

She was available to listen to the needs of the patients and she was whole-heartedly devoted to them. With her kind and satisfied manner she was highly respected.

On March 13, 2017 Jesus Christ, her redeemer, called Sister M. Amelie by name.  We believe that Sister M. Amelie now sees Jesus, the light of life. He will receive her in His love and bring her to perfection. With gratitude, we take our farewell from Sister M. Amelie and ask for a remembrance in prayer for her.
