Sr. M. Sarita


INTRODUCTION: Sarita was born in the northern part of India  in the state of Uttar Pradesh and she belongs to the diocease of Varanasi.  She belongs to a middle class family. Her father is a retired employee and mother a house wife.  She is the third child of her parents and they accepted her happily. Her parents are God- fearing and very devoted to daily prayers which helped her to choose the religious life.

HER VOCATION: She had a great regard and love for religious life. Her devotion to the holy Eucharist helped her to join the religious life. After finishing her degree (B.A, Bachelor of Arts) she joined the congregation. Srs.Nirmala and Saroj went to her house to bring her. She recalls the words of her parish priest “Life of a priest or a nun is not as easy as you see”.  Knowing all the struggles of a religious life, she entered on September 9, 1999. She made her first profession on  May 18, 2004 and said  her final YES on  June 1, 2011.

HER EDUCATION: She completed her B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) in 2008.

MISSION: After her first profession she was given a chance to teach in the school.  At present Sr.Sarita is teaching in Anjali Vidyalay, Pithora. She teaches English from class 9th to 12th, the age group of 15- to 18-year olds. She enjoys teaching the students and being with them.

CONCLUSION: She thanks her Beloved for making her His own bride and calling her to work in His vineyard. She extremely happy to be a religious and serve His people completely.
