Hospital Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis
I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even though he dies. John 11:25-26
In the hope of completion of life through Jesus Christ, died this morning, March 10, 2021, at St. Francis House in Nordwalde, our dear Sister M. Kordulita Vorberg.
Sister M. Kordulita was born on December 06, 1934 in Recke. She entered our congregation on August 12, 1955 and made her first Profession on May 03, 1958.
Sister M. Kordulita trained as a nurse and was initially serving in various hospitals in the nursing field. Influenced by a deep faith in Christ, she reached out to all people. Sister Kordulita lived her vocation and served others with love.
From 1985 she was employed at St. Marien-Hospital in Bottrop and then from 1990 to 1993 at St. Antonis-Hospital in Waldniel. Here she was responsible the refectory and cared for her sisters with love and benevolence. In the spring of 1993, she came to Münster to St. Heriburg House, where she took care of the laundry for the sisters. In the fall of 1999, she moved to Telgte to the Maria-Hilf House. As far as her health condition permitted, she was helpful in doing small services around the house.
In 2015, Sister M. Kordulita came to St. Francis House in Nordwalde. She needed more nursing help due to her illness. She lived withdrawn and prayed a lot. She consciously prepared herself for the coming of the Lord and was ready when HE called her by name this morning at about 09:05.a.m.
We gratefully say goodbye to Sister M. Kordulita. We thank God for her life in our community and for all her goodness. Trusting in God's goodness and firmly believing that HE will receive her into the eternal home, we remember her in prayer and in the celebration of the Eucharist.
Burial will be on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the parish cemetery in Nordwalde. Due to the Corona Pandemic, the usual rules apply.
