Hospital Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis

Sister M. Warina Tebbe

✝ Tuesday, January 4th 2022

When can I enter and see the face of God? (Ps 42:3b)

Trusting in God's merciful love, on January 04, 2022, in St. Heriburg House, Münster, died our dear Sister M. Warina Tebbe, Hospital Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis.

Sister M. Warina was born on July 09, 1930 in Halverde the district of Tecklenburg. She entered our congregation on August 08, 1952. She made her first profession on May 03, 1955.

Sister M. Warina first learned nursing and then worked as a nurse in various hospitals and as ward manager until 1978. Her helpful and kind nature was well recognized. She always favored the well-being of the people entrusted to her care.

From 1979 to the spring of 1994, she worked in Kamp-Lintfort at the St. Bernhard Hospital in the cafeteria. In April 1994, she moved to the St. Vincenz Hospital in Datteln. Here she worked at the information desk. In her free time, she enjoyed handicrafts. Personal prayer and the Holy Scriptures were always a source of strength for her.

Sister M. Warina lived as a senior sister in the convent of St. Irmgardis in Telgte from 2001 to 2007. When this convent was dissolved, she came to the Motherhouse and took over small voluntary services for the fellow sisters in the St. Heriburg House. From the fall of 2010, she herself was a resident at St. Heriburg House. Here she was increasingly dependent on help and care. Gratefully she accepted the help. She lived her life under God's hand and willingly gave it back into God's gracious hand last night around 8.15 p.m.

We know Sister M. Warina is now safe in the love of God and in His peace. Thanking God for her life, we take leave of her. We ask God to reward her for all her goodness. We remember her especially in prayer and in the Eucharistic celebration.

We will celebrate the Eucharist on Monday, January 10, 2022, at 2.00 p.m. in the Motherhouse Church. Sister M. Warina will then be buried in our Sisters' Cemetery in Münster. Due to the Corona situation, the usual rules apply.
