SISTER M. CLARA
“By the grace of God I am what I am” (1cor. 15:10)
I am born on 20th January 1964 at a village called Ghahra in Chhattisgarh. We are 8 children and I am the eldest daughter of Mr. Subman Minj and Mrs. Erencia Minj. My father is a farmer and mother was house wife. I have two brothers and five sisters. All are settled in and near of Jeshpur dioces, Chhattisgarh.
Vocation
After the completion of my high school studies I joined the Congregation at Pithora on 20th February 1987, all my initial formation was at Pithora. I studied in the school administered by St. Ann’s Sisters at Gharha. Therefore I had much opportunity to know Christ, the values of Christ, and to deepen my faith life. As I learned about the life of St. Francis, a deep desire grew in me to know more about him, which made my way to a Franciscan Congregation.
I made my first vows on 25th January 1992. After completing Higher Secondary studies, I did teachers training for two years. My final vows were on 30th of October 1999. This year I am celebrating my silver Jubilee of Religious Profession.
Apostolate
I had the opportunity to serve in Ramgarh, Pithora and Kurkuria. At present I am working as a teacher in government mission school at Kurkuria, which is administered by the Ranchi Arch Diocese.
I am grateful to God for the many blessings I have received in life.
