Hospital Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis

Sister M. Ingridis Dumpe

✝ Tuesday, December 21st 2021

God has written us in His hands and His hands are good hands. (Cardinal Höffner)

Trusting in God's merciful love, last night, December 21, 2021, our dear Sister M. Ingridis Dumpe Hospital Sister of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis, gave her earthly life back into God’s hands.

Sister M. Ingridis was born in Wulfen on July 1, 1923. She entered our congregation on January 28, 1950. She made her first profession on October 28, 1952.

Sister M. Ingridis was trained as a nurse. She served as a nurse in various hospitals. In 1969, Sister M. Ingridis moved to Schöppingen to the St. Antonius Hospital and in 1975 to Stadtlohn to the Maria-Hilf Hospital. She is well known for her kindness and goodness.  She was recognized and loved by many. She was always concerned about the welfare of everyone entrusted to her care.

Due to her age, her path led her to Telgte to Haus Maria-Hilf in 2010. She was very grateful that she could be near to her blood sister, our Sister M. Erminette.

Because she was in need of assistance and care, Sister M. Ingridis transferred in March 2019 to St. Heriburg House. Personal prayer and the Holy Scriptures were always a source of strength for her. Last week she was admitted to the University Hospital in Münster after a fall. On the last night, the good Lord took her home to eternity at about 1:00 a.m. in the presence of a fellow sister.

We express our sincere sympathy to our dear Sister M. Erminette.

We believe that Sister M. Ingridis will now share in Christ's glory. With love and gratitude, we bid her farewell and commend her in prayer to God’s nearness and goodness.

We will celebrate the Eucharist on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Motherhouse Church in Münster. Afterwards, Sister M. Ingridis will be buried in our Sisters' Cemetery in Münster. Due to the Corona situation, the usual rules apply.
