We share with you an abstract from the letter of Sister Margarete Ulager, the General Superior. 

“On our journey through this special time of preparation for Easter, we encounter the profound mysteries of our faith: the life, death, and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

In his message for Lent 2006, Pope Benedict XVI challenged us to oppose contempt for life and the exploitation of human beings in any shape or form and to heal the dramatic isolation and abandonment of many individuals. He invites us to turn our inner eyes during this time of penance and prayer on the crucified Christ, "to open our hearts to others, recognizing the wounds inflicted upon the dignity of the human person," says Pope Benedict XVI.

However powerless we often feel, every one of us can carry our wounded world before God in prayer. With this in mind, I wish us all His blessings in this time of preparation for Easter.”
